Ms. Nea Taylor
Ms. Nea Taylor is a dedicated board member at Memory Care Foundation, bringing extensive legal expertise and a deep commitment to child welfare and social justice. She has been a member of the North Carolina Bar since 2008 and is certified as a Child Welfare Law Specialist by the National Association of Counsel for Children.
Ms. Taylor holds a Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law (2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University (2002). With over a decade of legal experience, she has served as an Associate Attorney for Mecklenburg County Youth and Family Services since June 2020, where she represents the Department of Social Services/Youth and Family Services Division in court proceedings. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Taylor is actively involved in the professional and civic community. She co-founded the RISE Mentorship Program and has participated in Career Fairs and Mentor/Mentee Match Days at Garinger High School, as well as Career Day at Hidden Valley Elementary School. Ms. Taylor is also committed to giving back to her community through initiatives like the Feeding the Homeless Project.
